New Air Conditioner

This morning I was woken up by some men outside my window, they came to install a new central air conditioner in our home. I was woken up about 15 minutes before I had to actually get up for work, so that wasn't bad. Apparently our old air conditioner was using up too much energy, so this new one will keep us cool and save energy (and therefore, save $$ as well).

The printer is down at work again. Hopefully it'll be up and running before tomorrow... that's when I have to run the bulletin. Not having a working printer can really slow me down, as I have mentioned before. Oh well, things always manage to get done regardless. Maybe not as quickly, but I'm not too worried.

It’s great to hear that your air conditioner has been replaced. It sounds like it’s a more modern, energy-saving model. That’s a great thing! Those actually cool a room faster. Let’s hope your new one will also help you save more money this time!

Changing your AC is really a good choice! After all, your old has been consuming too much energy and it has cost you so much, so there’s no good reason to still keep it. There are new ACs that offer convenience and excellent performance. You should invest in any of these.

Yes, I think it was the right time to replace your old AC, since it’s been consuming too much energy. Purchasing a new one definitely helped you save on electricity bills, because it’ll only use enough energy to make it work. Just don’t forget to have its regular maintenance and cleaning to avoid repairs and other hassles in the long run.

I had the same experience too, but unfortunately I had already slept for over an hour when the repairman arrived. No one even informed me that someone would come over that day, and yes, I was so annoyed for disturbing my sleep. Changing your AC was a very wise decision. Don’t settle for just a “good” AC, if you can afford to have “best”, why not go for it, right?

It's been 4 years since your new A/C unit was installed. I bet it is still in good condition. Basically, A/C units are meant to last for 20 years. So, I wouldn't be shocked that your A/C unit is still functioning well after 4 years. Anyway, it all depends on how you used it, if you're only using it during the summer season, then expect it to be in good condition for over 20 years.

Georgia is right! It still depends on the homeowner how she’s going to take care of her AC unit for it to last, and hopefully, go beyond its projected lifespan. So, Karolyn, do your very best to keep your air-conditioner for 20 years, okay? :D Regularly cleaning and maintaining it will help your AC to be at its best!
